burning lots of oil out of exhaust. new turbo?
got a b20vtec del sol that i just installed a turbo on. at first it was leaking oil out of the intake side. so i took it apart and the thrust washer blah blah.. the carbon peice was broke so i got a new lil kit and fixed that. heres a pic:

so after i fixed that it started leaking out the exhaust side but i dont remember it doing that before. turbo is a t25 or t28 garret. dont know source of turbo but when i got it the thing barely spun so i took it apart all the way to getting the whole shaft out, cleaned it, and put it all back together. external turbonetics wastegate. i was worried about my oil line. -10 an drain and -6 an feed. uses a 1/8npt off blox sandwich plate too the turbo but i have no restrictor. could this be my problem? i ordered one as it was only $15 shipped. will that solve all my problem or should i try again to rebuild it or just buy a new ebay turbo with warranty for $300 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GT28-...Q5fAccessories
heres a vid of the sound and the smoke!

so i went up to the turbo specialties shop and basically fully rebuilt my turbo. got a new CHRA with new bearings and polished my shaft before i put it all back together. lets just say its brand new. dude at the shop claims hes built about 30,000 turbos in his life and has been doing it since the 70s. anyways i told him i have a 6 -an feed line and he says its fine because inside my turbo it goes down to a tiny hole. showed him my obx oil restrictor and he said throw that **** away.he also told me my turbo is a tb03..... off a ford, volvo, or chrysler lebaron. well completely rebuilt it and at first it was smoking some i think it was just burning off the rest of the oil in my downpipe, then it pretty much stopped smoking, then i got on it hard again all the way up to 8k and i dont remember at what point but it started smoking just as bad again. i shouldnt have a problem with my oil drain line because it has no horizontal points in it except with the fitting into the pan. the location is def high up enough but its not right in the middle of the pan. could it being over to the driver side quite a bit be a problem?
A picture would help. If it's mounted as high up as possible, it shouldn't be a problem. What size feed line did you end up using? I used a -3 and a .068 oil restrictor for my super 60...blah blah blah i know people are going to say only BB turbos should use a restrictor, but it worked for me.
still using the -6an feed without the restrictor and -10an drain. its def up as high as possible on the pan. did u blow oil before the restrictor and did that make it stop?

so i check the turbo and found that the nut on the shaft almost came off. so i screwed it back on tightly and it still spun freely. took it for a test drive and still smoked but no where near as bad. took it for a lil test drive and but didnt get on it. just a little throttle till the turbo spooled a lil bit. drove it for bout 5 min. and came back and let it cool off. check the oil, coolant, and nut on the shaft and all looked the same.
