my buddy had a '95 del sol and the the kid who owned it before him dropped it to literally 2 inches off the ground. it rides horribly, but even worse is the tire wear. the inside of my friend's tires are so worn that I'm honestly a bit afraid for his safety when he drives around on it.

I've googled up a storm and can't find OEM suspension (used) anywhere. can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

Depends what your looking for but most eg/dc parts should fit.

 

just get some used stock springs on ebay for a quick fix. and get it aligned.

 

Look around at junk yards locally. any 92-95 civic suspension will fit directly.

 

If he's got the money, get some good shocks and springs. If you're going to spend money on new suspension, it may as well be good.

I would have to agree though, tell your friend to get some struts, new tires and an aliment.

 

my friend is about to have a baby and broke, so I want to buy these for him so he isn't driving around a deathtrap once he has a kid depending on him.

that being said, I'm a broke college guy, so I'm not looking to buy him coilovers or anything. I just want to get his car correctly aligned.

Thanks for the heads up on the 92-95 civic suspension working, I'll look into that
