I have looked in the on line manual.

What is the easiest way to remove the electrical harness when removing the doors from a 97 Prelude ? Is there a connector in the foot panels ? or is the connector in the door panel ?

The shell is going to be scraped but the doors are in nice shape and we want to sell them. Car is black if anyone cares.

pop open the door panel and you should be able to unmate the harness connector

 

I was hoping not to remove the door panel. The kick panel is out and the under dash wires are easy to get to. next week I'll look under there and see if I can get a good spot to cut the harness. After the doors are off I'll drag it up onto the open trailer and take it to the scrap yard.
