As the title says. I am moving to the Cape Canaveral area in less than a month and I am looking for a good neighborhood for my family and my cars to reside. I have heard Central FL, like almost everywhere else has some auto theft issues. If anyone could give me some pointers about the lay of the land, what neighborhoods to avoid, where not to park my ITR, and maybe some cool locals to talk shop with, it would be much appreciated.

 

Stay out central Florida!! i mean if you want that your car be safe. Maybe I'll moving too to Cape Canaveral. It is more quiet place than central florida (orlando,sanford kissimme,etc) this places are good to give a visit only and will be more safe for the R in the Cape but don't trust it so much, Florida and California is like the capitals of the Honda's thief, is sad but it's the true. GL and enjoy the place it's beautiful and if you like to surf is the perfect place. Are you working for spfc or notu?? just ask because I saw that you are from Washington and now you move to Cape.

That is terrible to hear about the area. It sounds like I am going to have to layer my security more. I am going to NOTU in about a month.

 

yo man i live in central florida and it is getting bad around here i think in about a week there was 3 cars repored stolen just around my school and my friends. so i would stay out of orlando and for sure stay out of kissimmee man.

 

How is the auto-x and HDPE scene on the space coast?
