Default Beware of BLAAST PERFORMANCE #2

so,

i ordered a turbo and some parts from these guys.
recived the package today,

and bam, alot of stuff missing

here is our email correspondence from today:

my email to them:
I relesed the package today.
there are alot of pieces missing in the package!!!
lets begin:
-down pipe flange CNC
-down pipe gasket
-turbo and down pipe bolts.
-restrictor and drain pipe clamps.
whats going on?
also,
why didnt you answerd my last email?

look at his answers:
Good news, nothing is missing, you have everything you need:

Downpipe flange: The CNC flange is for those using an external wastegate. it's s a block off flange and you don't need one.In case of internally wastegated turbos like yours, the removeable swingvalve housing is acting as your 7 bolts flange in itself. It's not CNC, it's a Garrett casting. You weld your downpipe directly onto it. adding a flange or a v clamp there is optional but somewhat useless.

Downpipe gasket: There's no downpipe gasket. Garrett themselves never made or used one on any T3 turbo. The swingvalve housing is always mounted to the turbo with no gasket. Adding one would interfere with proper wastegate operation.
Downpipe bolts: are included: we bolted the downpiipe flange to the turbo for you already. It's using 7 bolts and you should clearly see them at the back of the turbo.

Drain pipe clamps: That was 10 years ago. We use "push-ON" hose technology. It's clampless. Once the hose inserted all the way on the fitting, it's locked. You can't take it off unless you cut the hose. no clamp needed, will never leak, warrantied.

restrictor: Oil feed will already restrict oil flow to a proper flow for this journal bearing turbo. You don't want to starve the turbo with oil, you would risk premature wear of the bearings. Only if you experience turbo overflowing (smoke and leaks) problems, should you attempt restricting oil flow more than it already is with this oil lines kit.

Thanks for your purchase. Keep us posted on how the turbo performs on your car :s WTF :s

my next email to them: (waiting for a response) not sure ill get any

1-2 then why did i paid for a flange and gasket kit ? if there wasnt any?! the "wastgated turbo" was a extra on the payment by it self! i expect to recive a refund
your qoute:

500$ turbo t3/t4 0.63 watercooled, wastegated
The turbine inlet and outlet flanges kit, CNC cut ½" thick easy to seld, with gasket and bolts, is 60$

so, you sold me a t3 flange and gasket for $60

3- the bolts are not there! look in the picture again! do you really think i missed them? you can cleraly see that there is nothing there!

4- forget about the clamps

5- restrictor: i know whats a restrictor and i expect to receive one when i buy a kit!
your qoute:

ACCESSORIES. This 99$ kit includes everything: T fitting, braided hose, inlet fitting, restrictor, flange, gasket, bolts, oil pan fitting, swivel adaptor.

thats f^ked up

honestly, it seems like every ****in turbo vendor on honda-tech always ships half assed orders, or missing stuff, or it takes 6 months, or they always screw you in some way, and it always takes a call out thread to get them moving.

are their any good businesses left out there?

That's some BS. I've read a lot of negative **** about this company on the net. I hope you get refunded for all the things you never received.

This is why I will gladly pay a little more to order things from well known people IE t1, IPG, Speedfactory, Tempest Racing, ect. Customer Service FTW.

There was a recent thread of problems from BLAST performance a few months ago.

Point is, don't do business with them if they screw people over!!!

Wow, Blaast has really turned to sh*t...

Mike @ LSD gets a good thumbs up from me... Had a few of my customers dealing with him for turbos and hardware with no problems... Great customer service.

There have many people in the last 2 years that have been "blaasted". People just don't care because they have the chance to save 10-20%. This is why most reputable shops are going down the ******* - people support the real shitholes and the good ones starve.

the only reason i turned to blasst is because i couldnt find any shop that still sel t3/4 turbos that are inernaly wastgated.

i was so pissed off, i had to ask my dad to call them because he can speek french.
i asked them to refund me on the downpipe flange and restrictor.
and then they said: i will refund you $30 if that makes you happy.

shitty service, no way i will deal with cancdians from now on.

I'm one of those customers of DMT and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Mike is a stand up guy and will always back up his products!
