Valve adjustment
I have 25k on a 01 gsr. I was wondering if i would benifit by adjusting the valves? Will there be any difference in power? If i do decide to do it, is it a hard task and do i need that special wrench?
Depending on how hard you drive your car, I would do the valve adjustment every 15K miles. This gets rid of the valve tap and also helps to make to your engine run a lot smoother.
I've never tried to adjust my valves myself because I usually have it done when I get my car serviced

it's not that hard. you need a feeler guage and a valve adjustment tool and it takes anywhere from 1-2 hours your first time.

I can do those puppys now in about 20 minutes, however the damn things never want to stop ticking, i've tightened em up too like 0.004 IN and 0.006 EX and they still tap...
