B18C1 rebuild ideas --- advice needed
Hi guys rebuilding my C1 motor as I messed it up with a miss shifted gear. Current internal set up is stock apart from Toda Spec A cams and ITR springs.
The car made 208FWHP on this set up with the Skunk2 intake and ITR TB and ITR ECU.
My plan now is to fully rebuild it. New piston rings etc etc as the car was going thru alot of oil. This time tho I am using Toda valve springs for extra safety and with the intention of maybe going for Spec A2 or B cams next year.
My questions are, Do I need to upgrade my valves now or will stock B18C1 valves be OK to run.
Will further skimming the P72 head yeild anymore gains, or is there a point whereby too much is skimmed off that it starts to loose performance wise or even cause interference issues.
I also have a set of adjustable cam pulleys on order too. I am aiming at about 190+whp or 220ish fwhp on this motor. I am keeping it at 1.8 litres too. Considering it made 208fwhp with poor rings and no tune.
I am also considering changing pistons.....but would like to keep the stock ones as the whole package as it is runs quite well considering.
any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

-u dont need to upgrade your valves, stock valves have made power up close to the 250's whp on 2.0L motors
to get into the 190-220whp, u'll need to get higher compression pistons or do some major head portwork if u want to remain the stock GSR compression to reach your goal.
-good luck
