as i was down slowing down earlier, i heard a loud noise. a loud buzzing noise or like a dremel at full speed. it became louder, the faster i went and i only heard it when i was in gear. soon after i smelled something burning, like wax or plastic.

i figure it has to be the transmission because earlier i couldnt get into gear at a light. i also put a new vss in and sometimes the speedometer jumps around uncontrollably.

any help? thanks in advance.

 

oh forgot to mention. 92 vx, with ex/si motor/trans.
