I'm so tired of not having my friggen car it just hit me that I have been ignoring it. I've been in a foul mood for so long and I never realized what it was about. I don't buy car magazines, I have no desire to go to Nopi Nats, I don't even watch SCCA when its on.
I'm so tired of being carless. ANd its worst when you have all the parts you need btu the major one (Block) is back order'd. I friggen hate being carless
*edit* I wanted to use "other" words but I refrained from that. Thank you for listening to my rant. My wfie is tired of it and I figured some of you guys can relate to how I feel.

No but really man, you know I know how you feel.
Why not just buy a beater?
I have one now and it's really cool because if my car goes down, or hell if it's just raining I can take the beater.
It's not the same though, right? you're probably more pissed at not having YOUR car, right?

Just rebuild that biotch.
My block is off to the machine shop next week. Just waiting for the pistons to come in.
Stop being lazy.

Yeah Ryan I'm waiting on a brand new shortblock.
Tom the reason I haven't bought a beater is because money is really tight (from having ot buy stuff to get the car running). I'm just frustrated its been 3 months and now that money isn't an issue I'm still waiting.
Dusty is the word for my car. I'm gonna be vacuuming and waxing (The hood back anyway) forever.

I sold off the block I bought from Eric and all the parts to go with it because I didn't trust anyone (including myself) to rebuild it without smoking. So I broke even on everything I spent on Eric's block and got the extra capital saved to drop on a new short block. I figured if Honda can't build a block without smoking then no one can

Release date is 10/21. They sometimes are real conservative so I'm hoping that some become available in the next couple of weeks. My buddy hydro locked his motor and order'd a brand new GSR short block and there wasn't even a release date. His block came 3 days later.....I'm hoping for the same kind of miracle.
I bought a GSR shorty straight from Honda about a year ago. I was told it would take about 6-8 weeks. Showed up at Shine Street in two weeks.

Hey bro, I feel your pain as well. I just sold my gsr shell and kept the motor that I had in there, but I am swapping pistons for FI. Im just waiting on parts to come in for my gsr motor. I need a new 3rd gear synchro to be fixed as well while the motor is out. Hey, I'll tell you what, since your local, I'll come take you for a ride in my 1.5, 70hp, throwout bearing needin monster I like to call my 93 CX.

IntegD is it standard. Everyone in my family drives an auto Honda. I don't even know if i remember what driving a standard car is like. I drive a 94 auto civic DX when I get my hands on it. Otherwise its ankle express (Thank god I work downtown now and not in Alpharetta anymore).
Thanks for the words of support guys. I'm a little better today. Still praying though. Tom I might tow my car to the body shop to get the body fixed while the motor is out.

I know how that feels
My husband swapped a b16 in his crx and had it running for 3 months then he started messing with it and now it is just collecting dust in my garage... And the worst part is I can't park in there because its in there
But hopefully it'll get fixed sometime this month or next...

it'd be easier if I had another car to drive but my next vehicles aren't practical right now so I decided to make so with what I have.
I didn't realize so many people are sitting carless as well. I don't feel like I alone
