B20 oil pan work on b18c1 block?
Whats up H-T? I'm in the middle of collecting all my parts i need for my motor build. I'm building a b18c1 block with 82mm PR3 pistons, gsr rods, PR3 head with crower valve springs and retainers, blox type b cams, and what not. But I still need to buy an oil pan for the motor.
I could use the oil pan that's on my gsr motor that's in my car now but i want to have this block 100% complete and ready to drop in and i want to sell the gsr motor i pull out of my car as a complete long block, so i don't want to use the oil pan off that motor.
I found a b20 oil pan for sale for a decent price so i figured it would fit on my b18c1 block since its a b series oil pan. Am i thinking correctly or will i need to find an actual gsr oil pan?

No, the B20 doesnt have the girdle and therefore the oil pan is different, as well as the oil pickup/windage tray. Only the P72 (GSR/Type R) oil pans will work.
