Huge oil leak
Ok I have a 93 Integra LS and I have a really bad oil leak. From what I can see its coming from the driver side front corner of the motor. Dripping off the oil pan. But im not sure where the leak is? There is oil on the whole side of the motor from the valve cover to the oil pan. There is oil all over the plastic timing covers, and oil on the intake manifold side all the way down. It could be the valve cover gasket, Cam seals, Front main, Oil Pan, or anywhere else.
I can say that after the car is killed it will sit and drip off that front corner of the motor for 5mins or so. Any ideas?

Do not drive the car. If oil is saturating you timing belt it will cause the belt to fail. Where you should start is cleaning all of the oil up, that includes inside of the timing cover. I am willing to bet your leak is comming from the front main or cam seals. You valve cover gasket could be another cause but if you havnt don't any work with it the seal won't just start pouring oil. Once you clean everything up make sure your belt is good enough to start and run, make sure it has proper tension and the belt dosnt look like its going to break. Leave your timing covers off, check oil level make sure its to level, start and run the engine, don't drive it. The leak should become obvious where it is comming from. well if it runs out of oil, you will have the pleasure of fixing a lot more than a seal, and that's no fun. It would be cheaper to rent a car than to replace a motor.
Him running out of oil isn't why I say don't drive it is because oil leaking onto the. Timing belt will cause the belt to fail. Guarenteed. Its hard to say how long the belt will last. I understand its your only car I've been their to. Get those timing covers off and see how bad it look. Most likely its your cam seal or seals good luck

Once you determin what cam seal is bad set the engine to top dead center (tdc) you should already have your timing covers off. Get a good sized pin or nail to slide in place of the cam holder, you'll see the hole on the cam cap nearest the cam gear. Then losen the cam caps following sequence. Search the faq thread you'll find it in their along with the tq spec for the cam caps whcih I believe is 17.6ft lbs. And you will also need a tq spec for the cam gear. Just follow the tq sequence for the cam caps and your good their. When you install the new seal just coat the outside of it with oil, and make sure you coat the cam and it journals and càps with oil also. The harmonic balancer bolt should be tq to 134 ft lbs. I'm on a cell once I get to a computer ill try and find exactly what you need

Rotate motor to TDC after removing the timing covers and valve cover. Loosen the tensioner and slide off the timing belt. Remove the cam gear bolts with something quick such as an impact. Make sure to hold the cam in place while doing so. Use a pick to pull the seals out. Coat outside of the seals with a little silicon spray and tap them in with a 3/8 extension until it bottoms out on the motor and the seal is flush. Make sure not to push the seal in too far because it might cause the seal to fail and leak oil. While your at it you mine as well do VC Gasket, Timing Belt, WP, Cam Seals, and Crank seal while the front side of the motor is exposed.
