Guy has a 93 accord Ex with 140k on it for $1300. AC doesn't work, stabalizer bar needs bolted in/new bushings, needs two new mirrors, car is primered black. What do you think?? Most of the other accord around here have180k+ and look horrible. Link is below

That clist ad cracks me up. When filling out the KBB estimate, he must have not checked the boxes that said "I sprayed my car in crappy primer WITH rust still on it" and "I make bad life choices"

I agree with everyone else, that car is NOT worth above a grand. I wouldn't offer him more than 900 dollars. And thats just because the mileage isn't bad and it has the manual trans. If he won't go down (which is what it looks like) then move on.

Sold my dad's 93 Accord EXR for $550 Canadian. Things to know is she had 325,000 kms, thats about 200k Miles. Poor thing, we ran her to ground, but she never gave up, died only once when timing belt broke. Thought would be gone, but after new timing belt, came back to life.

Things to get from this.....

1. The milage you say is awesome (assuming its not rolled back)
2. Even at 200k when I posted her on Kijiji, I had over 10 people call me. But they all wanted the car for $500. No more.

So there is a demand for 93. Btw, the guy who bought mine, shipped it to Africa, said it sells for $5000 there. Yes thats 5K. I think it was Somalia.
