hello all
i just picked up a 94 eg hatch
im thinking about focusing on making it light as hell and put all the money into suspension and things of that nature.

two things that sparked my interest were:
carbon fiber hood
carbon fiber hatch

how do these go for lightening the car up?
noticable?
significant?

also wondering if anyone has any shots of a carbon fiber hood/hatch (unpainted) on a teal eg.
pics would be awesome
but im also wondering how carbon fiber holds up for daily driving. the eg is the daily, but doesnt take TOO much abuse
