wanna do a f23a1 all motor build!
hey whats up guys im thinking bout doing a slight f23a1 all motor build...still lookin to keep it a daily driver just want a little more power out my motor and its time for a rebuild anyways so i figure i do it now im lookin to get 200-250 whp out of it so im wondering.....
1.is it possible?
2.what compression should i stay around?
3.can i retrofit other pistons (h22/h23) in to raise compression?
4.do i need major head porting?
5.is it even worth spending the money?
6.do any of u guys have any advice?

built an f23a7 for my brother, just for kicks. dc5r pistons. stock rods. balance shaft delete. s2000 crank damper. cleaned the head and laped the valves back in. AEM cam gear. vented the vc and ported the intake man. no EGR. calculator says 11.7:1.
then thru it in a 94 4dr accord in front of an auto trans.. lol. some ebay header that i cut down and made fit snug. full 2.5 back. no cat. runs best on 110 but we retard the timing and it runs on 93 daily.
need to swap to 5sp. cant tune an auto ecu and there is alot left in there. but hey, its fun. not trying to be fast. building an f22 for boost now..
so yea.. its possible.
if you think its possible... just build it.. the least you will get is an answer.

2.stay around 12:1 to run pump gas.
3. you can use the rsx-s pistons. compression will be ~12.3:1 with the f23 head.
4. Use another head. f22a or h22.
5.It's not an investment, it's a hobby.
6.f23 with rsx-s pistons, h22 head, decent header and you should be ~230whp.

type in "f23" how simple!!! you don't even have to use quotation marks! wow.
where you select the forum you want it to search, try selecting "All Motor" makes perfect sense hey?! (if you were lookin to do a turbo setup, maybe try selecting "Forced Induction"...you can even shift click and select both! holy ****)
you're doin great i know this is hard and extremely counter-intuitive...
NOW, click the final search now button at the bottom.
VOILA!!!! hordes of information! i swear it's magic
good day
