Could a faulty ignition switch cause this code. Just bought car and has a jumper wire off the white wire and yellow wire on back of ignitions switch ran down to floor and twisted together. Could this be the reason for my code 15(Ignition out put signal)?

 

I also have code 45 to.

 

I did have a point where the car shut off and wouldnt restart and thats when i noticed danglin wires and reconnected them and it fired up. I would assume the switch went bad and someone did this instead of correct fix which i will be doing. Just curious if thats tied to the check engine light code or not and also what causes a code 45 to. thanks again.
