what size tire??..
Hello, i just got a 92 civic hach and im about to buy some wheels for it,i wanna go with 15x7, my question is about what size tire would be the best for this set up? thanks
when i was looking online the websites give me both options, 195 and 205, it will make much difference one size then the other one? Did you guys have pics of the 2 set ups?
When buying tires, you want the tire size whose outer diameter is the same as the stock tires. That prevents rubbing and maintains the accuracy of the speedometer/odometer (and larger tires also make your car accelerate slower).
You can check the numbers and see for yourself:
165/70-13 - 22.09" (stock size 1992 Civic CX Hatchback)
175/70-13 - 22.65" (stock size 1992 Civic DX Hatchback)
185/60-14 - 22.74" (stock size 1992 Civic Si Hatchback)
165/70-13 - 22.09" (stock size 1992 Civic VX Hatchback)
195/50-15 - 22.68"
205/50-15 - 23.07"
That's why 195/50-15 is the best 15" size for your '92 Civic Hatchback (no matter which model it is).
