Icon6 She doesn't like to move it move it when hot :( -96 accord LX with swap q?

Hello all, long time no annoy

I just picked up a 96 honda accord LX automatic with an engine swap (hadn't had a chance to check the engine block to see exactly what's in her, but it's definately not stock!).

So... driving her around the block a few times and for up to 5 miles or ~15 minutes of driving, she rolls and shifts perfectly when she's supposed to. BUT the instant the car gets that warm, she shuts down and even with the pedal to the floor, the engine will rev but not go anywhere. If I shut the car off in neutral, restart it, then put the gear selector in 1st it will move again....and actually upshift to 2nd then stay there and get up to ~25 MPH (@4k on the tach) then refuse to accelerate further. Repeat process, cut car off in neutral while moving, restart it, then manually shift it to 1st and it will move again. SOMETIMES D4 or D3 will allow it to shift too. Driving it this way (keeping speed at about 25mph and not revving it above 4k) i made it home. Then i let it sit overnight, started it in the AM, and same thing...she drove fine for the first few miles then acted up again.

Any ideas? I had NO CEL's or flashing D4 lights. When the car is first started, "P" and "D4" light up but then the D4 goes off after about 3 seconds. The last time I shut the car off the CEL did come on, but I had to rush to work so I just turned it off and didn't have a chance to grab the code for you all. I will get it after work.

I did check the tranny fluid and it was bright red and full, no leaks whatsoever. It is genuine Honda fluid as well...I know because I put it in there. If i should drain/refill a few more times I will...but I can confirm the fluid is full and there are no leaks in the tranny.

Any ideas guys? Thanks!!!
