Default Canadian 2000 SIR keyless entry question

I have a 2000 Canadian SIR coupe all the wiring 4 the factory security was in the car I just bought the factory security kit and installed it. My main Question is I have the power lock module in my drivers door. I removed the drivers kick panel to look for the factory keyless entry module. I do not see one anywhere not even a plug for it. I ordered a factory key fob and have instructions how to program it. But don't I need a keyless entry module or will it work with the power lock module in my door. I've read and read plenty about this but it's all about U.S. SI or EX is the Canadian SIR coupe model different. Where the heck is the keyless entry module located ? or will it work with just the power lock module in the door. I'm so mixed up I just want to have keyless entry and use my factory security any help with this Canadian SIR would be greatly appreciated. The dealer was'nt any help either he said the factory security would do it all this guy does'nt know much. Please someone help who has dealt with a Canadian SIR

The dealer is correct, the alarm should do the key-less, the stock, [white] key-less entry module is just an RF unit not needed when you have the alarm module, [it is an RF unit].

Questions, why would you get a stock alarm when aftermarket alarms will give you so much better protection?

Did the alarm not come with remotes? "I ordered a factory key fob" 94

No the system did'nt come with any remotes man. So what you sayin is all I have to do is get a keyfob and the keyless entry module is already built into the security box. I ordered it I just wanted a bit of security. I dont live in a high crime area people are too stupid to know how to stealth a car around here. Just 4 if I go to the movies or something. I see your in kelowna beautiful area I used to live in coquitlam and spend time in the summer in the okanagan. Let me know if I correct about the keyless being built into the security box please.

I bought it from CFL honda out of florida I asked the guy and he did'nt know what keyfob to sell me. I have one 4 a U.S SI and one for a canadian SIR I can't get either one to work. Or get into programming mode with the whole key flickering sequence. I've read a few different ways it seems everyone has their own way of programming the remote. I'm so frustrated with this keyless entry everyone says the keyless entry box is behind the driver kick panel. In my SIR its not there either is the wiring plug 4 the module. I see the 2 holes where the M6 bolts go to hold the module. Another thing I'm confused about is the factory security from the U.S. has a different part number than the Canadian factory security which is discontinued in Canada. All I have in my car now is the U.S. security system and the factory power door lock module in my drivers door. What am I missing
