I'm trying to find out if the DC5/EP3 dash coin holder would fit inside one of the four holes in the armrest console. Anybody try it out?

interesting, someone give it a try. Where is this located in the ep3/dc5? armrest too?

 

^its located on the dash near the switches for the power mirrors. my gf has a DC5, and i'll be at her place tommorow night. I'll report back in 24 hours to let you guys know if it will work or not

 

Cool. But I have a feeling it might be too large.

 

It probably fits in the spot where the sunroof switch goes on the left of the steering column. There was a JDM piece that was identical that is for that location.

 

There's a guy in the marketplace selling two gray 'EK' ones for $70

 

Does the same person also have DC2R Recaros for $4000?

 

or the mats for $600

oh and he just put the mats on ebay for $350

ok, sorry for the late response, but it wont work without modifications. The DC5 coin holder is in fact bigger than the DC2 pieces. Not by much though, maybe 1mm, 2mm max. But another thing is, the DC5 piece clips in with clips on the top and bottom, with the DC2 cliping in on the left and right.

Did you try to install it on the center console in one of those 4 dummy spots? Or did you try to install it on the left of the steering wheel where the sunroof switch would go if you have one?

The JDM DC2 holder goes where the sunroof switch would be, and this looks like the same size as that.

 

kinda off topic but where is the best place to order these??
