My CEL came on a few days ago so I checked the codes. The CEL came up as code 70, I found that that was automatic transaxel. The D4 light blinked 4 times. Im assuming it is 40 and not 4, bur does anyone know what 40 and 4 are or what the problem could be. Thanks for any help.

 

my d4 has the same code but my auto tranny wont engauge into reverse..but same flashing code of 4

I saw this when I was looking for the code list. My D4 does not blink unless I jump the diagnostic plug. Also haven't noticed any thing going on with the tranmission ( no difficulty getting into gears, not getting stuck in a gear smooth shifts) Does anyone know the codes for the D4 light blinking?

So I looked up the fault code and it says its lock up control or circuit fault. Like I mentioned I have not noticed anything off about the transmission especially the problem that I heard can occur with a failing lock up control solenoid. Anyone know where to go from here?
