Alternator Killing Battery ??
1991 Civic. d15b1.
Changed my Alternator and battery 3 days ago. Car is dead again, what could be going on. Ive tested the alternator and the voltage fluctuates between 12 and 14 volts. what could be causing a drain, or what ?
Anyone ever have this problem, I cant keep getting a jum p for my car. and the funny thing is I cant even pop the clutch in gear to get her going ?

its most likely not the alternator unless its hooked up wrong. most likely you have a parasitic drain. my best advice is to take it to an automotive shop that specialise's in electrical.
parasitic drains can be a real pain to find. get a volt ohm multimeter and start looking but its best to have a shop do it.

do a paracitic drain test that might lead u in the right direction also check ALL grounds in the engine bay any kind of corrosion or loose grounds could be your culprit.
Just because you have a new alt. doesn't mean it's good, even if its changeing right while it's runnin it could kill the batt. when off.I would bring it back and try another.
