so im driving to work cruising doing the speed limit (50mph) and i see a silver lexus is 250 on the side of the road up ahead, they have their left blinker on so i assume shes trying to merge back onto the road, i wasnt too cautious because i was in the left lane so it was fine, next thing i know she tries to pull a u turn and im 15 feet away i had no where to go but try my best to swerve and avoid her. i cut the car to the left to try to avoid her but still managed to hit her, thank god i thought fast and swerved if not i would of t boned her and it would of been a mess. she was an older lady and said she did not see me coming... here are the results

i know how you feel. I lost my DA last week and I wasn't even driving it. Someone hit my car while it was parked and the damage was bad enough to total it out. At least you are okay, cars can be replaced, people can't. Good luck on your next project.

yea i actually recently sold the hardtop so i guess i lucked out on that, and nah i dont think its gonna be covered

 

Usually if you have full coverage, anything bolted to the car is considered part of the car. If you can get receipts then you should be reimbursed.

It has happened to me in the past. Hope you get everything settled out right.
