Del Sol with 16" rims + lowered springs?
Current are default 14" on my Del Sol.. Will put 16" rims with 205/45 tires...
Your sugestion, for how much to lower my Del Sol? I plane to lower for 4 cm (1.57 inches), or maybe 5 cm (1.98 inches)..
Somebody have setup like this (16" + 1.5-2 inches lowered).. Need some picm how it look's...
Thnx!

Click link in sig. Go to GALLERY. Browse through to the newer pics. 16's (17's in earlier pics) with moderate drop. Not sure EXACTLY how much though......

wow cool site with the animated menu kinda things. I guess your sol steve has one of them purple to blue to purple paint jobs that changes with the light. BTW how lowered is yours? Any guess? It still looks pretty high to me.
Hmmm, well I'd have to say its maybe 1.5" all the way around. But that's a guess. Nah, mine's stock Captiva Blue, but Photoshop somehow decided to add a purple tint to some pics. There's not a whole lot I can do really

Why from 17" > 16"?
On pic with 17", is same setup (springs) like with 16", or is much lowered? If is same, that with 17" look's much better.
Current 16" rims that u have look like 15", because they have large "edge".
Are in USA avalible "OZ racing" rims? Here are very popular, light rims for good price..

17's were 7.5" width and rubbed on the inner fenderwell
17's needed 205/40/17 tires which are heavy and expensive
17's are bent all to **** from the 40 series tire and crap roads. They are in my attic right now, and if you want to buy them you can. They're fixable.
Yes, the pic with the 17's was lower. I used to scrape the front on my driveway with the 17's and don't with the 16's. I also had **** poor tire wear from that drop, so lifted it up some, and now its excellent. I have a camber kit to go in when I have time, and I'll drop it a little more then maybe. I'm not into the slammed lowrider look though.
Pengo has the same rims on a del Sol in 15" size. They are definitely smaller looking. I don't think these 16's are too small. The 17's were a bit overpowering IMO, but I bought them used from a friend. Oh, and the 16's are >10lbs lighter each!!!!!!!

Oh, I've seen that Samba Green one around town...always seems to be going in the opposite direction though!!
Cool maybe we can meet up one of these days. I work in Houston 4 days a week (horrific commute!), but I'm around on Fridays and the weekend usually.
What's your ride?
