My question is regarding the mid pipe. I know 100% the length is the same. But people are telling me that the mid pipe on the USDM ITR is the exact same tubing diameter and pipe as the LS/GSR, and I should just order the LS/GSR midpipe as it is around $25 cheaper. They have different part numbers though,

Here is the 01 GSR midpipe
#18220-ST7-A64 PIPE B, EX. 1 2001 INTEGRA $196.33 $147.25
Here is the 01 ITR midpipe
#18220-ST7-R60 PIPE B, EX. 1 2001 INTEGRA $227.43 $170.57

Does anyone know for sure that the pipes are the same, or different, and if different what is actually different? I am leaning towards paying the extra $ and getting the part # listed for ITR but people are telling me thats dumb, they are both the exact same for USDM Integras.

 

I would pay the extra $25 for the right part just for piece of mind. I would think that if it was exactly the same b-pipe that they would share the same part #'s.

Don't listen to those people telling you that it is dumb! Just my 2cents

 

ITR B-pipe as another resonator in it that other tegs dont have. They are different.

 

There are small differences, It would bolt up and fit but its not the same.
