looking for bearings... for an F20b
so I managed to spin a bearing on my new swap... that I haven't got to drive yet. I need to know what main bearings and rod bearings to use for it. Also, if I got lucky enough to ruin the crank, what crank do I use. While I'm at it. what crank pulley can I use to regain power steering? i know I need and h22 PS pump, bracket, and a spliced hose to fit on my 96 Accord LX. Help this poor soul get his sedan back on the road.
Please don't give me info that you "think" is right. that became a costly problem with my crx when I was offered "proven" info. Thanks for reading and providing REAL specs.

dohc vtec... why bother with worse motor? i only chose this over h22 because of the "that's not a h22?" effect it has on people. well, those who only deal with b and d series.
alright thanks for the advice. I will wait for more input though, I was told F23 main and for rod, b16... wild huh! i do know that h22 and f20b are a little different internally, IDK yet, making me a bad owner for being so ignorant on what I do have
i checked the part numbers.. not the same.
F20B uses F23 mains and B16 rod bearings like the op said. i don't have any B16 parts handy, but i do have F23A1 crank and rods and F20B crank and rods laying around so i've checked first hand.

I didn't have to mess with splicing the high pressure hose or changing pumps and ****. I would think it would be the same for your F20

Ok to clear some things up the 97 f20b had a 50mm main journal crankshaft whereas the 98+'s had a 55mm journal. The rod journals are the same as a B series so depending on your year you either need h22 or f23 mains, and b series rods
