Default Apexi WS2 offset specs

I still need to figure out what offset goes with each muffler option.

Is this diagram bellow correct?

Examples:

Right Offset ( O)

Regular Offest ( O )

Left Offset (O )

I really like the offset in this pic below. It seems like the most common one, is there a reason why? Any pros and cons to the different offsets.

Am I correct regarding the offset specs or does the offset have to do with the muffler itself being tilted as many nissans 240sx people like to have their mufflers angled. Here is a neon example below:

I want my ws2 to look like the first pic. But I'm still thinking about what it would look like with the center offset. I do not want any slant added to it. I also like the regular offset ws2 in this pic below. Will the center offset specs give any problems if I choose to go with it? I haven't seen an ej8 with the center offset yet.

Does anyone have any advice? Any ground clearance issues for those of you with slammed rides? Thanks very much. Any rear shot WS2 pics to add to this thread would be greatly appreciated.

the ws2 (catback) exhaust comes as an oem replacement muffler so it hangs exactly where the oem one sits, other exhaust systems like the APEXi N1, HKS Hi-Power ect.. already come "angled", but if you just buy the muffler by itself you can place it however and whichever way you want it to sit on the car

Thanks for your reply, but I don't want my muffler angled. I have quoted text from the OP that clearly states my muffler intent. I am aware of all the information you provided.

The WS2 comes with a left offset on the version made specifically for 92-00 Civics because that is how it needs to be for both the tip and the hangers to line up correctly in their respective positions. This way the tip of the muffler aligns with the cut out in the bumper and the muffler hangers line up with the hangers on the car.

I suppose if you made your own hangers then you could do the centered-tip muffler, but I don't think it would work very well. But I would definitely not do the right offset style... that would look really weird.

Thanks, I'm not sure how much of a hassel getting a center offset would be. I like the left offset the most anyway. I have seen an eg with right offset and it looked fugly.
