I have a 2000 Accord V6 and my SRS light has been on for 3 months now. I went to the dealer and they changed the seatbelt sensor and the sensor under the passanger seat and the light is still on. Then the dealer told me my SRS computer needs to be changed and this is not an warrenty item.

Can anyone tell me where the SRS computer is located and how to remove it?

replace it with one from a jy removing/disabling the safety equipment is bad bad bad

 

do like i did for my seatbelt light take the bulb out!

i always wear my seatbelt, its a force of habit

 

It is located under the center console, right below the radio. Pop off the upper panel above the tray, the piece around the shifter and cup holders, then remove the tray. It will be right there under the tray. You might need to unbolt the center console to get it out though, not sure.
