What ECU?

Well after doing some troubleshooting tonight, I think my ECU may have **** the bed.
So can anyone tell me what my best option would be to replace the P61 ECU in my DB2?
Should I just try and find another P61? I'm not exactly sure what my options are here, so any input is appreciated.

Option 1: find another P61
Option 2: go to a place like phearable.net, and have them burn a p61 basemap onto a different obd1 ecu
Option 3: chip an obd1 ecu and have a custom tune done for your car.
Why do you think your ecu is bad?

It's throwing code 8 which is for the TDC sensor.
I've cleared the ecu, it came back.
Did all the testing to see if it's my distributor and everything tested good.
Tested the ECU to see if it's faulty wiring/ground, everything tested fine again, which only leaves the ECU itself.
I'm going to retest everything just to be sure and try and find someone local with an obd1 b16 ecu who will hopefully let me swap in theirs to see if it is in fact the issue.
Thanks for your help though.
I did find someone in another province here who has a P61 but they're asking too much for it.

Hmm I'll keep that in mind.
I'm going to see if I can't go to the wreckers around here and get a dizzy for dirt cheap and swap that in as the foreman at my work suggested.
Worth a try, better than replacing the ecu if I don't have to.
