Icon3 N00b Needs Help [F22A1] Build

Hey everyone im new to the forum and on top of that im a complete N00b with accords. Im a Civic guy but tried a different honda route this time. So i bought a 1991 Honda Accord Sedan. Loves them 4 door hondas So I have a F22A1 and need help with more research on this motor. I plan to build and turbo the car. But I don't know of where to start and do I have to get custom parts or are there a lot of parts out there for this motor. And I hear a lot about hybrids of this motor to have the F22 bottom end and H23 Head. And F22A6 is the better intake manifold to use and the H23 Header bolts on. Can anyone give me any thoughts and ideas?

It really depends a lot upon a few things. 1. Your power goals, (200-300 or 300+) 2. What the car will be used for most (Daily Driver, Weekend track car, or strictly track) and 3. Your budget. Always remember to add tuning into your plans. It will come into play for all three categories.

Anything over 300whp is going to require internal engine parts and a larger budget.

Make a plan and try to stick with it.

The F22A1 is a good platform to start from for boost. Yes there are a few parts that you can swap to gain a small amount of power. For example, the A6 cam and lower intake matched with the H23 upper plenum and throttle body. You mention boost, so now you should start looking in the forced induction forum as well. This will help you see what other people are doing.
