Default Slowmotion Motorsports orange civic build

We are trying to my car finished up for the IDRC race at Norwalk,Oh on the 30th so thought I would post what we have been working on over the winter. The last 3 years the car was on a stock k20 35r setup making 500whp and going 10.3's @ 136mph. I decided to get a bit more serious with the car for this year

sleeved k20 with cp's on manley rods
micropolished crank
erl s2k oil pump
hybrid racing tensioner
spuntek chain guide
ported a2 head with full supertech valvetrain
skunk2 stg 1 cams
slowmotion motorsports custom turbo kit
precision billet t4 6768 bb
precision wastegates
afi intake manifold
afi dual backdoor intercooler
vibrant vanjen clamps
weldon 2015 fuel pump
weldon filters
nrg tech fuel cell with -10 feed/return lines
T1 catch can
Competition Clutch twin disc/flywheel
DSS stg 5.9 axles

I also upgraded all suspension, changed from 6pt to 10pt cage and made the parachute setup

where is the downpipe gonna go??? seems like upper rad hose will be an issue.....

also wont the wastegate dumps heat up the fuel lines which should NOT be running over the tranny??

convert the upper hose to an and it can be angled away from the heat, but get the nice heat wrap to go around the lines and everything should be good to go....,Looks good setup is more like twin turbo v8 style....

I bought the k-tuned upper coolant housing and we are modifying it to bring it straigt forward to the radiator instead of at a 90*. That isn't done yet but will be this week. The downpipe is already mocked up and we have plenty of room from everything. I will post some pics when I get back up there.

Fuel lines are just laying up there for now I ran them and left them long until the turbo kit is finished so I can mount them away from everything. Why should the fuel lines NOT be running over the tranny?

I was going to put a single 60mm on it but still not sure if it would've been good enough so I put two 46mm on... figured why not can't hurt. I really want to try to control boost down low with small springs so I can get my short track on spot.

If the clutch and or flywheel calls it quits, you don't want fuel lines close to the trans. a fire on top of the carnage would suck.

incase the flywheel ever breaks, it can cut the gas lines spraying gas all over...

The rules state that a 1/8" walled conduit for fuel lines running across the flywheel is only required if the fuel lines are not steel braided.

littlebluecrx said it, reminds me of the twin turbo v8 setups going different routes means there is alot to learn along the way. Cool setup

always liked this car. As far as the fuel lines over the tranny, your gonna be running a scattershield correct?
