Ok so i bought a sleeved built motor on JAN 7 2010 off of user: boostedeg6-1 on here. He had the motor built by speedfactory and I even called them and they vouched for this kid as a seller and everything. He also had a bunch of other parts forsale and according to two of the other buyers they got their stuff. It wouldnt bug me so much if a seemingly reputable business didnt have his build thread and info on their website and also vouche for him without any doubt.

The Problem is I never got my motor. I have tried everything and he does not respond to my pm's , texts, calls etc. I am working on filing a legal claim but I was wondering if anyone in here can help me. I have seen this work on other forums and hopefully it will here.

Well I filed a paypal claim and they wont give me my money back because it was over the time period. I waited too long since i filed in march and it happened in jan. He kept telling me all this stuff was happening and hed ship soon and etc.... and since he had vouches I gave him the time. All paypal did was cancel his account. Speedfactory has been no help either. They said they would ask around and then thats about it. No offer to help more than that so I decided to ask fellow members instead.

Why dont you join in the thread Bryce? You have no issue pm'ing me after you havent been online for weeks. I have tried to contact you countless times and my paypal hasnt changed so you know where to send my refund.

I would love for you to share your story with hondatech about how my block i payed for on Jan 7 still has not arrived or been refunded. I will not let this go until i get my money back.

Shotgun! Not literally but he needs an *** whoopin. I have never dealt with the speed factory but from the things I hear they are not reputable. Just a thought but you stated that you contacted speedfactory and they vouched for this tool bag. Might be just me but sounds like it could've been an inside job because why would they give a vouche for a customer. They don't know that little ****er so why would they vouche? Just cause they built the engine? I say INSIDE JOB! Did you use a credit card when you purchased the item via paypal? If so then contact the bank/institution on the card and file a report they should be able to help.

 

I don't know who any of you people are, but I know Bryce very well, and as a matter of fact, I watched him ship that block out myself. Speedfactory knew him very well, was a very reputable customer as well. Speedfactory is 100% legit, they vouched for a good person.

This seems to be some big misunderstanding and is getting out of hand with some of these comments I'm beginning to read.

 

REALLY YOU WATCHED IT GO BY WHAT COMPANY???? I called all the shipping companies that bryce told me and also every major shipper and they had no packages going to my address or from his address or by his name or location. I cross referenced every company and even updated bryce everytime they told me he never shipped anything.
But since your so close to him you should send me my money back so then he can repay you since hes so trustworthy.
He doesnt come on hondatech since apr21st and within 5 mins of me posting this thread he pms me.

You know whats funny is that after I called Speedfactory they told me they cut ties with Bryce because he owed them money too. So they vouche for the kid and then I get burned and they say ohh he never payed us either lol. That and after his name got posted in the scammer list his buddies pm'd me saying ohh typical Bryce he stole from me too.

 

INSIDE JOB= Sounds like speedfactory is involved. If they vouche for a customer owing money I mean c'mon. A "real" "legit" business would say **** no he owes us money but the fact that they vouched for him and cut ties sounds to fishy real fishy.



I just called Bryce and left a message, he probably won't call me back but maybe he'll feel the local pressure and told him we don't like scammer on Honda-tech. I'll try again later. Maybe a few x's at early am hours when I can't sleep... lol!

 

OK so Bryce has pmd me and asked for the phone calls to stop which I honestly didnt know anyone was calling but anyway.

He has agreed to a payment plan every 2 weeks he will send me money. I am hoping he lives up to the deal and we can get this past us.

I agree with you guys. I am so skeptical to buy anything online now. I have told Bryce i will do a payment play and remove this thread once he has paid half of the money he owes me.

He has asked if people would not call him and threaten him.

 

As asked by Jsilva I am posting in here after our PM conversation was resolved and talked to. No one needs to call me, threaten me or talk to me for that matter. As Jsilva stated we have reached an agreed upon payment plan.
