Default si ecu or integra ecu

can anyone tell me which ecu would be better to run in my 90 Civic and why? I need some answers to my questions if anyone has any. Would running an integra ecu do damage to my engine being that it is for a DOHC engine? Which ecu has more hp? Please advise. Thanks.

i fu have the stock Si engine u better stick to the SI ECU since it has the right fuel map, redline and all the setting for that specific engine...... if u have a Z6 or any other engine, u can get the 88-89 PG7 ECU wich has a higher redline and a better fuel map (more aggresive one)..... but on an engine with no mods (Si) its not worthy...

the pg7 will run the a6 or z6 a tad bit rich.

Yes, I have a a6 engine with gude cam, y8 manifold and bolt ons and it still runs way too rich. Killed two o2 sensors in 3 weeks cause it ran so rich. Just go with a reprogrammed Pm6 ecu.

the Teg ECU makes your D15/D16 run much too rich (i ran it on a D15B2 MPFI I/H/E). it has maps for a DOHC engine (are the 88-89s 1.6 or 1.8???, that would explain the richness as well). i ran it for a couple of months, and it does add power, but you gas mileage goes WAY down (from ~35 to ~25, same driving style), as well as it fouled a set of plugs. i didn't think the benefits outweighed the price, so i sold it for a $20 profit. i think the $80 i got back served better as auto-x entry fees.

what if you have a adj. fuel pressure regulator? how would that work out if you just lowered the fuel pressure?

haha. im throwing a code for my O2 now as well with the pg7 running my z6. it runs really rich even w/d16a1 pistons raising the compression so really not worth it like they all say
