i am rebuilding a k20z3 out of a 07 civic si. i got the motor in a bunch of pieces from the owner. i need 2 things, the torque spec for the rod bolts and how to align the balance shafts inside the oil pump ( as i see no markings on them, but they have to be installed synced up since they are balance shafts. any help would be good thanks

 

If you plan on boosting or making big power I wouldn't use the balance shafts. You would need a rsx type s oil pump. I just took mine out and used the rsx pump. The shafts rip apart your bottom end if you plan on making big power.

rod bolts - 22 lb ft + 90degress
