My computer crashed in a big way and I haven't had a chance to go out and get a new hard drive and fix it all
As soon as I do, I will scan the sheets and post them, Right now I'm on a Crappy 233mhz notebook.

Something substantial enough to warrant the actions of those who worry about which intake makes the most power.

so the waaaaaaaaaaay overpriced m00gen intake is not worth it?

AEM works for me, but if there is a clear winner I will not hesitate to switch.

I believe Mugen beat the others down in Mike's test.

I dont know where you live or how much money you make, but for me, its well out of my price range for an intake, unless it proves to be absolutely, hands down, superior. Im curious about the results.

As far as the J's we have a couple extras coming in Monday.
When i get them i will test one on my own car Vs. The Mugen thats on their now, and the Comptech Filter on OEM Tube.

As far as the Mugen Not being worth the money, overpriced, etc. Thats BS Do some testing both on and off the dyno with a bunch of intakes and then you can rate other intakes, But don't be one of those guys who has an AEM and never tried another intake yet says "AEM Is the Best out there, the others either suck or cost too much" Because you sound like a fool and have no basis to go by other than hearsay and magazines.

I've driven ITR's with Mugen Intake, Stock, Comptech Drop in, Comptech Ice box, ARC full system, ARC Box and OEM Tube, ARC Tube with Comptech filter, Comptech Short ram, etc etc. I also Dynoed 90% of those setups so I have seen what their power curves and gains look like when Dynoed all on the same car same day.

If I have to pay $75 for 1hp then My Mugen Intake was WELL Worth it

Yes but Only for people who light Diesel on their Hoods

Basically what i am saying is i pay
$65 for a Comptech Drop in Filter and picked up 1hp
$165 for a Comptech Icebox and picked up 2.5-3hp
$230 for an Icebox with Drop in Filter 3-4hp
$235 for an AEM and picked up about 3-4hp
$650 for a Mugen Intake and picked up 8.5-9hp

So can you see how that is worth it now?
PS: I'm talking above about peak hp gains, some of the Intakes like the AEM and Mugen Had powerspikes with 10-15hp gains and most of them had some good mid gains.

By NO MEANS was I implying that m00gen sucks. I had their 4-1 USDM headers and my car dynoed at 178 with everything else stock. And Im not so stupid as to just assume anything about horsepower numbers. I like to see results, and if the m00gen had that much of a difference over the others, then obviously it is superior and worth the money, if you can afford it. Ive never tried anything other than AEM, basically because I got it for $180 and it is a good mod to start off with. If the m00gen is picking up 8-9 peak hp then that is atleast double the other intakes and its up to the individual to decide whether they want that peak power and can afford it or not. Again I will reiterrate that I wanted to see the results before I drew any conclusions. Do you have any dyno charts or just gonna post up the numbers?

Hmm,

a question:
How can you dyno an intake with a ram-funnel in the bumper ???? I think you have to move the car to let the ram-effect breathe life....
in my eyes the gains on the dyno will be different to the real gains while driving.

Maybe somebody could check this out.

George ?
