Default Tire recommendation... turbo integra 15x7.5 works

Hey guys, I am finally finishing my build and I decide I think I'm actually going to buy some nice wheels to put on my car once it's painted. I'm currently looking at these Work Goocars http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=2730163 but I need to figure out a tire for the car. It's a "daily driver" car should be over 400whp, but I really want a decent tire for these wheels on my car. I thought about running an all time drag radial, but maybe I'll rock something else. Any recommendation on tire and tire size would be a big help.

The tire size you would need for 15" wheels on an Integra is either 195/55-15 or 205/50-15. However, if you go with the megawide 15x7.5, stick to 205/50-15.

What you want is one of the really sticky "extreme performance" tires. All of these are available in 205/50-15:

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11
Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
Yokohama Advan Neova AD08
Kumho Ecsta XS
Toyo Proxes R1R

Enjoy!

Thanks have you used any of those? I'd like something decent in the wet as well

No street tire will really hook up with a 400+HP integra. I would probably stick with something that has a decent tread wear (even though they won't last as long as they are suppose to lol)

I've driven on them. They're all excellent in the dry. If you plan to use them (at least occasionally) in the wet, avoid the Kumho XS, which is significantly worse than the others in wet.

So what you're saying is, as long as "no street tire will really hook up" (yeah, right), then you may as well get a tire that's even less sticky but lasts longer.

alright cool... I just didn't want a tire where my car is slipping and sliding all over the road in the rain. Thanks a lot man.
