The battery that comes with the back up battery is horrible? What is a better lead acid replacement then?

The problem is they are inconsistant and always have been for as long as I can remember. They also dont have much capacity. Go pick up a 12V lead acid battery for house alarms or ups back up from frys or some place similiar.

Something like this http://www.frys.com/product/3002479

The more amp hours (Ah) the more alarm accesories you can supply power to and for longer. The quality of battery will be far superior.

I agree. I went with the DEI 520T from the get go but the battery that came with it wouldn't even hold a charge. I went to Radio Shack and bought a bigger lead acid battery and never looked back.
