Icon3 94 dx coupe cut out while driving in the rain

My buddy has a 94 dx coupe completely stock. He mentioned that when its raining, the car won't start. It cranks over but doesn't fire. So, last night while he was driving in the rain, the car just cut out on him. I figured it was probly moisture in the dizzy. I checked for spark & none was present. So I pulled the cap & didn't see any moisture, but we still replaced the cap, seal, & rotor. The car still won't start. I do smell fuel after repeated attempts to crank it over, so I believe we have fuel. Could this be a problem with the internal coil? Please give some assistance. Thanks

Well... I figured it out. Luckily this coupe replaced another coupe that he wrecked. So I was able to swap dizzys. Got it in... and it started right up. Thanks for your help.

...and by the way. Where is Korea town, MD?
