Torn Steering Boots - 92 Accord
The boots on the steering rack of my 92 Accord are torn completely in half. I can replace them cheaply, but my concern is whether I shouldn't consider replacing the entire rack. Could my existing rack have suffered any significant damage from torn boots?
Also, and perhaps partially related, I hear a fairly significant clicking/clunking noise while turning. It is more noticeable on right turns, but I also hear it while turning left. Could this be a failing steering rack, or can this only be failing CV joints?
