rear view mirror removal
I can't figure out how to get this plastic piece off from the headliner. Does anyone know how to do this? I wanna take my headliner down to clean it, etc. but the mirror is holding me up. (lol, no pun intended)

It's a 5th gen. I tried prying with a screwdriver and couldn't get it off. I looked in the Chilton's manual too. Maybe I'll just have to try harder. I just don't wanna damage anything.

i know this!! just yank!!! the 3 screws hold it onto a toothed washer, not the roof.. just yank and it will come off the toothed washer!! ur gunna feel dumb when u finally do it
