Not without any supporting mods (cam, headwork, etc.) and a retune.

You'll just be running the same fuel tune through different injectors.

IIRC the H23 injectors are 240cc, which is the same flow rate as the F22b1. So no gains.

As stated above. Even if you were to find larger injectors. Adding them to a stock setup won't give you any gains. The Stock ECU will actually cut the duty cycle (fuel flow) to keep the air fuel ratio at a stoic 14.7. It does this using a process known as long term fuel trim. The ECU monitors the AFR and if it sees that it's always rich it will cut the fuel until it reaches it's predetermined range.

And yeah, good point, you've got that working against you as well. For some reason I thought it read that the OP had come across upgraded H23 injectors. Silly me.

Actually I had to double check my injector flow rate sheet. I thought they may have been the same as the H22 at first.

Good stuff. Yeah, just look for bigger injectors then.

Do any of you know when it is necessary to upgrade to a larger injector, as in how much more power do you have to be putting down to necessitate an injector upgrade from the stock accord injectors..

I am doing a Bisimoto Level 2 cam, apexi ws2, dc 4-2-1, AEM intake and planning to dyno tune..
Would it be necessary to consider any form of injector upgrade?

Thanks

240cc injectors are good up to 150whp N/A @ 80% duty cycle & 42psi fuel pressure. I would imagine with your setup that the 240cc would be OK. If you want to be safe and you plan on doing more upgrades in the future. You could look for a set of 92-96 H22, peak & Hold, 345cc injectors.

The dyno will tell you for sure if you need larger injectors or not.
