building a gsr. have a question
im building a gsr and the block i have doesnt have the water pump or the water pipe on the back of the block. i have a complete b20 block sitting around. i was wondering if i could take the water pipe off the back of the block and put it on the gsr and just buy a new oem water pump. or are the pipes different? the gsr block is from a 99gsr

it should work just fine. from my experience in the past both b series vtec and non vtec had the same water pipe. shouldn't be any different then when i compaired my ls to my b16

its the same but just make sure you look up a picture online and compare to make sure. i know the b16-b17 are different on the thermostat housing.
