just bare with me it might be kinda long
i just wanted some opinions im about to get a car and im new to the honda scene and ive been lookin at a 2000 si and a 05-07 accord coupe and im not sure if i should get the v6 or the 2.4

well to start off it would be daily driven from li to bk cause im goin to school in Li i think that it wont be worth it to get the civic because id want to redo the interior to have black carpet n plastics and leather seats a indash id go turbo n prolly get a greddy exhaust and id need like 2 tire boots just to be safe and a 2way alarm and thats like at least another 4 to about 7 grand depending if i get all brand new parts and the only thing id do to the accord would be is to get rims and alarm and a navtool so i can hook up my ipod n rear view cam maybe a greddy evo2 and i doubt id go turbo with an accord

the other question is how does the k24 compare to the j30 i kno the j is sohc n the k is dohc and i kno the hp difference just wanna kno in the real world is it that big of a difference what are the pros and cons to them both

 

I have an 03 V6 Accord, and the engine is great. I would check the condition of the transmission fluid, and make sure it doesn't have any shifting issues. I haven't had any problems with mine, but I know many people have.

 

Alot of driving, get the 2000 SI, better gas mileage.
