Default Project silver hatchie(56k go away-srs)

Consolidating some threads elsewhere here, this stuff has happened in the last year or so I've owned the car, this will not be one of those uber 6 month start to finish builds.

How the Car was when I bought it:

Bought 15" konig heliums w/ 205/50/15 tires

Took apart headlights and did the whole bake/paint thing, turned out pretty well.

Wheel gap before drop

Springs have arrived

Moved to SC over this past week for a job. Packed all I could fit in back of civic, got a buddy and started driving. Car handled 42 hours straight driving, only stopping for food/gas/bathroom. Should have pics up later tomorrow.

I paid 5600, which wasn't that great of a price, but it was a one owner car previous to me, and it was a really old lady that owned it. I actually wanted a coupe at first. Went to this russian dudes used car dealership in portland. Found a black EX, looked pretty nice, good paint and whatnot. I told him I would be having a PPI done before I bought anything. He said he had a mechanic on staff that could do it, which should have been a red flag right there. Told him I was gonna take to Honda and have them look it over. Driving it I notice the shifter is moving quite a bit forward/backward when I accelerate. Get to Honda, the Honda guys pull me out into the bay and are like "Hey it looks like this thing has been wrecked at least twice. Engine only had *ONE* motor mount connected. They showed me where the bumper supports and whatnot were bent back into place. Best 89.95 I've ever spent.
