Tail Light Problem (Weird?)
So today at work my friend came in and told me my tail lights were on so I went to my car to turn my lights off, but they were off. I have a 1989 CRX DX just to clarify and all fuses are good.
3 of the rear lights will not go off no matter what I do or try unless I pull the power plugs to the rear lights in the back of the hatch. The 3 that are on are the left most light, the right most light, and the top rectangluar light closest to wing (I don't know what to call it). So there is most likely still power going through the wires, I'll probably wake up to a dead battery.
Anyway my question is how is this possible and how do I fix it?

check your carpet, you'll probably find chunks of what looks like blue crayon.

Remember this happened to me but ended up being my brake pedal was still pressed in a little just taped it and they came off my something with your pedal switch
same thing happened to my hatch . i figured out that i was missing my brake stopper. so i just took 2 washers and electric taped it to where the brake stopper is supposed to be and voila . problem solved ! lol
I broke the piece, the blue crayon was all on the carpet. Thanks again for the link, now I can order some new ones and get back on the road.
