met this guy last night to purchase the SSR RF-Pro Firenze. i drove 4 hours to him and he was driving 20 mins to meet me. he was in and out of communication all day. then once i got there and informed him i was there he disappeared for over an hour. he finally texted me back ONLY to ask if i would drive another 15 mins towards him and to say he wanted another $40 more then what we had agreed upon originally bc "this guy i really wanted to trade for racing harts got back to me while you were on your way and wants to trade for the wheels i really wanted tonight, and i have to do it unless i can get the extra money." this was less then 2 hours after he messaged me to def come bc "I wont leave you hanging."

there is no question it was a deliberate move to get more money once i had already driven 4 hrs bc he figured i would not just turn around and leave. he even sent me a message saying he knew it was "shady, but this isnt the way i usually do business, im just in a tough spot, fml. and the only reason im even offering to give them o you for the extra $40 is bc you drove out here." are you kidding?!?

i gave in and agreed to give him the extra $40 for that exact reason. i waited for OVER two hours from our agreed upon meeting time and then finally when he showed up at about 12am, one of the wheels had a huge chip and crack in one of the center caps. i must say he was upfront and honest about a slight bend in one of the wheels and sent me an extra pic of that, but he never mentioned anything about the chipped cap. then he also changes his story and says the guy with the racing harts wanted to meet tomorrow, and not that night like he originally said when he asked for more money...

every single word of this is true, he was texting me as everything happened. Very shady, i would never do business with someone again after something like this.

 

Not everything he said was true, LOL he texted me saying I haven't heard from you in 30mins or w/e n i texted him back..I had just got back from being gone all day and was eating/away from my phone..lol this guy is def a lil upset and I understand..but that doesn't mean u gotta bend the truth to make me look bad or like this terrible seller that sold u shitty *** wheels or ripped u off terribly + i said the guy wanted to trade "asap"..not the same night buddy ..I gave u the option to meet me close to save YOU time..I knew It would of been longer if i met u given my situation and also u drove like an hr out of ur way topss..cuz u went to meet someone at the woodbury commons..but I will say it was in no way an attempt to squeeze more money of out him jus to be a dick or make extra $ w/ no reason..if that was the case I would of told u more so u would go away..but kept it reasonable because I needed more reason to not sell u the wheels sooo cheap and not trade.....there was a dude I wanted to trade with for Sprint hart Cpf's..

I'm just lettiing people know what i dealt with just like anyone should so people know. i knew they werent mint bc you told me one had a slight bend. we had an agreed deal and then it turned into + $40 and a broken center cap which is going to cost me another $40 easy once i find it which will probably be a pain. its done and over but its still worth telling so other people wont come in blindly in the future...

That's like someone agreeing on $300 for cf hood...and then when they get there saying "Oh...I'm goin clubbin tonight...so I need $350 now". Incredibly janky.

 

No not at all..basically..it was either I trade my wheels for Cpfs str8 up....or sell to this guy...person with the cpfs hit me up and told me ok lets trade..as this guy was on his way..I could of turned my phone off and traded..instead I worked something out, lol i still regret not trading..but o well, I missed out...he got his wheels. Anyway I really don't want to continue on about something thats over and done with, thanks for the bump lol
