I have a 2005 RSX type-s and i recently changed my stock axles to the drive shaft axles 2.9. My first impresion is that the drive shaft axles seems to be slight longer than the stock ones.

On turning left and right with the car i know hear an owfull sound, like methal is rubbing on each other.

I heard that when the axles are new you get this sound.

Does anywhone have experience with this matter???

Did you verify you have the right part numbers? I don't see why the DSS axles would be different lengths.

 

I veryfied the part number and i have the correct one.

 

I work in a driveline shop and axle should not be making any sounds no matter wat the brand

 

I think you bent you splash shields into the disks while you were f-ing around under there and thats your rubbing sound. been there, done that.....
