Default Tri Y header on B16a2 review

Hey guys i recently install a Hytech replica tri y. Before this install i was still on my stock header (Heavy). SO this is about my feedback of the header. Im running a stock B16a2, with chip n SFC FIELD. S2 stage 1 tuner cams.
Before the install on the tri y, my car had great power all around so after i install the Tri y, My power had greatly improved. I cud feel better response. The downside is after i hit the VTEC at 5500 rpm, i cudnt feel any power in my car. I cud only feel the vtec power at 7k all the way to 9k. Why is that?
There s a lost only at 5.5k to 7k, What actually happen?
Now im planning to switch the header to a JS racing header. Is this a better option or should i still to the Tri Y i have now.
Thanks guys..

A good friend of mine temporarily has a B16 in his EM1 while his LS/V is being built, and his car had the same results...a very strange powerband. His pulls nicely above 7500, but from crossover to that point, it's dead.

my old set up did that too. I made good power but the motor really woke up above 7k.
