Heyy just bought a new intake filter just the filter online and the dimensions of it is 4x9. My intake tube when i take off my stock intake filter box measures 3.5 inches though. How would I make it fit or is there no possible way? So somehow i neeed to make my intake tube a 4 inch to fit the new intake filter i Got. It's a cone shaped Cold air intake filter. What would be my best bet I own a 98 Honda Civic Coupe. Please help me out thanks for your time.

 

spectre makes a filter they have it at autozone that has a couple silicone rings that go on the inside of the end to change it from a 3, 3.5, and 4" opening on the same filter maybe you could get something like that to make it smaller but i would just order the right size if you can afford it.
