Just got my first ej1 coupe!!
So out of 7-8 cars i've had in the past year, selling and making profit and what not, i always managed to have a hatch every freakin single time!! lol. But i ended trading my ek hatch for a ej1. My ek was going to **** at 200k on motor and body, needed new clutch, and tranny mount was broken, as well as the body was faded all over and dents on the roof, and interior wasnt the greatest. But i managed to get this coupe! so here is the details
supposively 120k miles.. even tho the title says exempt >.<.. feels healthy so i said w/e.. my 200k mi ek also had a exempt title.. idk why. But it was originally black but had been painted white, wasnt a bad paint job but not the greatest looks pretty good tho
. Door jams and trunk and etc. except for engine bay was painted. d16z6 motor untouched. an alarm, and windows are good.
The driverside switch rolls down the window for the passenger but cant roll it back up(any one know why?) i figured i'd just replace the switch. even tho it works for the driver side window.
The car came with the ctr replica lip
(i think its kinda gross), but upside is that its painted i guess? lol..
JDM stanley headlights(plastic) so it has the rainbow effect in them, also has city lights! that was a big ++ didnt realize till after i got it. and fogs/amber corners.
Also car came with alarm and what not, A/C works great and is actually cold!, this model also came with ABS.. my other friends ej1 doesnt have it. So i one up'd him
Only thing that i can tell right now that needs to be done is the Driver side CV, it clicks really bad, and needs alignment. But everything else seems to be okay
It didnt come with hub caps so i bought these oem ones for 20 bucks off my brother... good tread on tires as well. Also has came with the oem sunroof visor
The guy wanted my car cause of course it was a ek hatch and he had a buddy he bought a wrecked ek from. and wanted to xfer all the **** to mine. So thats his reason for trading. sounds legitmate.

i went under the car to look at it, and it the person like sprayed that **** you use to sound deton your car,(like spray styrofoam) and its like shitty. so idk what will happen when i rip it off..
, ill take pics of the grossness tomorrow ha... and thanks, i havent ever replaced a CV axle and im about to attempt it in a week or two

Only have the Before and after pics of paint..i have order'd Function & Form type 1's and they should be coming soon along with some new Denji Projectors. And since the recent pics with new paint i got Oem Mud Gaurds on it too. But everything in the Car is OEM. I have a JDM Sir matching white cluster, arm rest, Ek seats, Oem fron lip and i White Regas in the garage im waiting to put on, i just want to do the suspension first! I am looking to buy some Jdm clear corners right now..But here ya go!

Yeah me and my buddy painted the car..you wont believe me when i tell you but that RED CAR (same as the white one) I paid $250 for it the guy i bought it from his idiot kid kicked in the quarter panels that was the only thing wrong with it..Runs like a top!
The Ek seats are adjustable, they are on stock rails..I want some Recaros..But i spend all my money on this car..so suspension first, then my wheels go on..and then all that cosmetic stuff..ya know.

I dont have any interior pics right now, i work to much to take pics of my car once i get it time i will snap some pics but its got a clean *** Black interior!! The only thing is that the back seats are faded on the tops..I bet yours are to all Ej1's are..

... and my windows are tinted so it may not be as faded i didnt bother to look, but im going to remove the tint sooner or later.. i hate it on my cars lol

No i didnt paint the egine bay..i was planning on doing a wire tuck when i do a swap so im planning on painting it then..But I like the tint on my car, thats just my prefrance..

Keeping a car for the long term is worth it. I've had my EJ6 for four years now and I do get bored with it sometimes but you get to know your car inside and out and get the chance to really make it how you like it instead of ditching a project that's 10% done. Just my opinion though. Good luck with your new ride!
