Um... I just pulled seats from a 90 CRX Si and put them in my 89. It should work the other way around.

 

i wish but people been telling me the same **** that they wont fit... if any body out there knows more plz let me know

 

You can always try it out for fit or swap pans.

I had no trouble pulling my black and grey Si seats from my 89 and putting in black and red ones pulled from a 90 Si. I know the 88's are different due to the pillar mounted seat belts but 89-91 Si seats should be the same.

 

Hondapartsnow shows the same part#s for 89, 90, and 91 CRX Si seat rails.

81260-SH2-A31
81270-SH2-A31

81280-SH2-A31
81290-SH2-A31

and the same part numbers ending in A01 for 88 CRX Si's.

 

it's the 88 seats that are different!!!!

89, 90, and 91 can be interchanged

 

how sure are u that the 89 seat will bolt in and any one else know this?

I showed you a picture of my 1989 CRX. I bolted in "newer" 1991 seats into my crx...how do you explain that?????

Even if the rails are different you can still do a pan swap.
